Goodmans House and Furley Cottages
once part of the Furley estate which was broken up in the mid 20th Century. The grounds cover some 8 acres on a sloping westerly hill side with far reaching views across two counties.
Within the grounds is a large natural pond, wooded area and open fields. Presently the grounds are being brought more into parkland and out of agricultural use.
Guests at Furley Cottages are invited to enjoy the grounds, with strategically paced benches to take in the views, but we request that you maintain the quiet and peacefulness of the grounds whilst using them.
