Goodmans House and Furley Cottages

The grounds at Goodmans House were once part of the Furley Estate, which was broken up in the mid 20th Century, and cover some 8 acres on a sloping westerly hillside with far reaching views across two counties.

Within the grounds are two large ponds, a wooded area and open fields. There is also a Fire Pit with bench seating and a picnic table by the Duck Pond  - ideal for an impromptu barbeque.

The Walled Garden houses the attractive Orangery, which is comfortably furnished for dining and seating up to 30 people, and is an ideal place to enjoy a quiet drink either alone or with friends.

All the cottage guests are invited to enjoy the grounds and will find many strategically placed benches and gazebos around the gardens to relax and take in some lovely views.
